Rain!

It doesn't actually rain all the time in the Pacific Northwest (shhhhh!!). I can't remember the last time it rained, and the ground has been thirsty, with dust swirling on our driveway whenever the car drove up it, and some of my plants have been drooping (I'm not as diligent at watering them as I should be).  Today we had some early morning showers, and after waking up this morning I happily discovered the beautiful, sparkly, jewels the rain left around the yard!

 My 14 year old daughter takes such pretty pictures of raindrops.  Thanks to her I see raindrops in a way I never experienced before seeing her pictures, so I'd like to share some of her pictures with you.  Here are some that she took this morning.
