Watermelon Popsicles
I had been thinking it was feeling a lot like autumn, but last Wednesday the temps started rising, and it's been sunny and extra hot in the Seattle/Tacoma area, even getting up to the mid-90's yesterday! What a change from last weekend when it was cloudy and the high was in the upper 60's.
To help cool down at least temporarily, we like to eat homemade popsicles. A really easy new one we tried this weekend is watermelon popsicles. To make them just cut up some watermelon and put it in a food processor until it is liquefied. Then pour it into popsicles molds and freeze! See, it's nice and easy, and my kids like them! It took about 1/4 of a personal-sized watermelon to make 4 large popsicles or 8 small ones.
Keep cool!

Perfect summer treats.

Excellent ideas. I have wanted to make homemade popsicles for years, but I never think of it at the right time. This will keep it in my mind.
