Shadows of the Bridge

The new bridge at Chambers Creek Properties
(picture taken by my older son)

The new footbridge at Chamber's Creek Properties is such a nice bridge. It's made of cement and has metal railings and has a graceful curve. I think it's beautifully designed.  It crosses over the railroad tracks and goes down to the beach.  There are two staircases from it that descend to the beach--one staircase leads to the left side of the beach and the other leads to the right side.  And the top part of the bridge continues until it goes out over the beach and ends, like a dock.

  2. Hiya,
That makes for a lovely walk. How long is it?
The sun must be strong, as the shadows are positively inky.
    I enjoyed seeing that. Thanks.

  4. Thank you all!

Good questions! The bridge is in University Place, Washington, and I found out that it is 900 feet long (and 12 feet wide).

  11. It's beautiful, but I'm wondering why they built it. It seems to go back to the starting point.
